Mike Armour
Michael Armour, II accepted Christ in 1993 at the age of 13 under the pastorate of Bishop R.L. Henry at the Church of God MPGT where he went on to serve under the pastorates of Michael Armour Sr and Henry Brunson. Over the course of 30 years he has been a grounds keeper, janitor, usher, candy store worker, Sunday School teacher, choir member, choir director, musician, national musician and anything else he could find to do until he was eventually called to the ministry in 2008.
Mike currently serves under the discipleship of Bishop Josephus (Joey) F. Johnson, who has guided him in his growth from minister to Bible Study instructor to founding pastor of Disciples of Christ Inc.
Second only to being a child of God, Mike is blessed to be “Carmen’s husband,” father of 3 bonus children, and 9 grandchildren. He is also an 18 year employee in the electrical utility industry, an author, has launched two businesses and is a graduate of Ohio University.
Carmen Armour
Carmen Armour (aka “Lady Carmen,” aka “Mike’s Wife,” aka “the Boss”) is a graduate of Stark State University and works for the public school system as an administrative assistant. She is the president of “Adopt-A-Teacher",” a 501c3 organization dedicated to supporting teachers by providing educational resources that teachers typically pay for out of their salaries. She owns and founded “The Bloomed Lilly,” a crafting business that offers a wide variety of product lines. She is also the Director of Community Ministries at Disciples of Christ.
